I am a Licensed Therapist

with over 12 years of experience working in DFW’s mental health community. I hold a Master of Science Degree in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Alabama. I have extensive experience with individuals suffering from clinical depression, anxiety disorders, paranoia, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from Dallas Skyline High School.  I went on to earn a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Texas in Denton.  I spent several years, as a stay at home mother, and eventually came back home to Dallas, TX , where I gained invaluable experience working with Metrocare Services (Dallas County MHMR).  Not only did I have the opportunity to teach my clients at Metrocare the skills needed to overcome their mental illness, but believe that what they taught me about empathy, perserverance, and courage has changed my life as well.

I know that my own life experiences and struggles have contributed greatly to my non-judgmental, no-nonsense approach to helping others.  My goal as a therapist is to help each person find healthy solutions to their pain, so that they can go on to lead productive lives and cultivate meaningful relationships.

Let me help you to live your best life.
